Of course I’m talking about StraCraft 2. That’s also the reason I Haven’t been so active lately.
I’ve been planing to write this post since I had my copy of StarCraft 2 in the palm of my hand (well, just for a second, then I dropped it, it was hard to balance).
Before I wrote something of course I had to play the game, just a couple of maps from the campaign. If you haev played it, you’ll know how it’s ends up. You’ll play it alla without eating, sleeping or visiting that second room. The campaign was awesome, awesome, awesome. I felt a bit sad the morning after when I woked up. I felt empty. How long will I have to wait for the next episode, too long I realized. I started the game anyway, walked around aimless in the menus.
Now I realized something else, I had a lot of fun left. Not to mention the most obvious stuff, the Battle.net multiplayer part. But I found a lot of small fun stuff too, to mention some, challanges and achivements. Now I have to play the campaign one more time just to unlock alla achivements. I have a loads of time left on the multiplayer part.
From the beginning I thought I was going to write a review. I don’t have the time. StarCraft 2 is awesome, awesome, awesome. Got to go, have some serious gaming to take care of.
This is what’s happens when a so called bug sneaks in to a game. Mostly bugs are quite annoying but as you can se in this video it also can be quite fun! This is a collection of funny game moments when the bugs are attacking.
The power of action games lies in their psychological themes. The play requires the person to get around a problem by use of powerful animals and tools like pistols. They borrow much from action movies where stars have to connive conspiracy theories that end up in a vivacious solution.
Action games involve the use of pistols to hit targets while spying. The player has to execute the espionage and get away before discovery. One has also to go shooting through enemy lines stylistically for close escapes. Earning of points depends on the success of the player in carrying out the mission successfully by employing clever techniques. Missions involving use of dynamite requires the player to target landmarks by placing the bomb in the most appropriate nooks to achieve maximum blasting result. Some of these games involve marine animals like sharks that indiscriminately kill anything around their niches and also those without.
The philosophical theme is also touched whereby a religious authority improvises a way to save sinners. The main requirement is to create a silent conspiracy that will keep the intelligence of the rescue hidden from the outer world. Others have players trying to escape from experimenting doctors who have crazy missions behind their white gowns.
At last but not the least, three of my favorite action games:
- Half Life (original, two, E1, E2)
- Quake 3
- Modern Warfare 2
